Careflight was called to the scene of a pickup that crashed into a tree on Pence Road near its intersection with Johnston Slagle Road Wednesday, Oct. 26. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office was covering the accident. Sidney and Port Jefferson firefighters and Perry-Port-Salem Rescue responded to the scene.
