Tootie the Traveling Tutu’d Turkey was seen this week discussing her Thanksgiving pie order with The Spot Restaurant owner Michael Jannides, who suggested that she order her pies by Nov. 20 by either calling The Spot at 492-9181 or going online at www.thespottoeat.com. This will save Tootie so much time, since she is busy getting ready for the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K Race to End Hunger! Have you registered for the race? Go to www.sidneyfirstpres.org and register today. In addition to visiting The Spot, Tootie has visited the UPS Store, where she made a copy of her registration form; the Sidney Police Department to file paperwork for the 5K run/walk; Panache Day Spa, where her feathers were fluffed for the big day; Shelby Chiropractic Health Center where her shoes were checked to make sure she doesn’t need new orthotics before the 5K;Davis Meats where she ordered a ham for her holiday feast; and Northwood School where the student council is planning a food drive. The Turkey Trot will begin Nov. 24 at 8:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Sidney.
