Tri-County Board seeks focus group participants

SIDNEY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services invites anyone who lives or works in Miami, Darke or Shelby counties to participate in a focus group or online survey as part of the Board’s strategic planning process.

Several focus group sessions are scheduled at various locations. Interested parties may attend any of the sessions. It is not necessary to RSVP.

The Shelby County session will be Wednesday Dec. 14, from 2-3:30 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office, 810 Fair Road, Sidney.

The Miami County session will be Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Tri-County Board Room, 1100 Wayne St., Suite 4000, Troy.

The Darke County session will be Thursday, Dec. 15 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Edison State Darke County, 601 Wagner Ave., Greenville.

The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services of Darke, Miami and Shelby Counties is creating a 3-year Strategic Plan for the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health services delivery system in the three-county service area. You are invited to provide your input into:

• The Tri-County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health service delivery system’s strengths and weaknesses

• Opportunities, and threats and challenges

• Values, needs and service priorities for the Tri-County Recovery and Mental Health system of care

The focus group session will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
