Meeks and Sprague were visiting northeast Sidney homes checking old fire alarms, installin new ones and talking to home owners about fire safety plans. The fire alarm instalations are part of a campaign by the Northern Miami Valley Ohio Chapter Red Cross to help protect Sidney from home fire tragedies. Emerson Climate Technologies provided 20 volunteers to install the smoke detectors.
