Faber’s portrait unveiled in Columbus

COLUMBUS — Keith Faber, R-Celina, the current state representative for the 84th Ohio House District, attended a portrait unveiling Wednesday honoring his service as the 94th Ohio Senate President.

Artist Leslie Adams was commissioned to paint the piece and attended the ceremony. Additional attendees included House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger, R-Clarksville, current Senate President Larry Obhof, R-Medina, former Rep. Jim Buchy, Department of Natural Resources Director Jim Zehringer,and family and friends of Faber.

“It was a very special moment to be surrounded by my family, friends, and colleagues that have supported me throughout my career as my children unveiled the portrait,” said Faber. “I am grateful for the opportunity to have served as Senate President and carry with me many memories and lessons as I continue the work to make Ohio the best place to work, live, and raise a family.”

The oil painting will hang in the Ohio Senate Office Building, connected to the Ohio Statehouse.
