Area farm to open for Alpaca Days

SIDNEY — The owners of Count Your Blessings Alpacas, 680 Doorley Road, Sidney, will open their doors to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sept. 26, during National Alpaca Farm Days.

This is the ninth year that Rick and Annette Paulus will host visitors for the annual event that gives the public the opportunity to learn about and meet the animals that are native to South America.

Admission is free. In addition to displays and demonstrations, there will be music by Jeff Newland, an alpaca obstacle course, door prizes, hay rides, and food. Participants will be able to pet, feed and lead alpacas. There will be many opportunities for photos.
