Frank Amberger, of Sidney, at Lehman Friday, Feb. 3. The Blessing of the Throats is done during the Feast of St. Blaise. Blaise was said to have cured a choking boy by crossing candles over the boy’s throat. Blase was the bishop of Sebaste in Armenia during the fourth century.
