CELINA — Joint Township District Memorial Hospital and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Take Back hour will be from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Auglaize Mercer Family YMCA, state Route 703, Celina.

The event is for residential/household medications only. Medications will only be accepted between stated hours. Items for disposal cannot be accepted before or after these times.
