FORT LORAMIE — The village of Fort Loramie will flush fire hydrants, Wednesday, April 26, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The flushing is part of an EPA requirement. During the process, residents may experience lower water pressure and discolored water. If water is discolored, faucets should be run until water is clear, before using the water.

The village of Fort Loramie will have its annual Large Item Cleanup Day, Saturday, April 29, from 8 a.m. until noon. There will be roll off dumpsters at the Water Treatment Plant, 605 E. Park St., behind the new Redskin Memorial Park across from the high school.

No hazardous waste will be accepted. Any appliance must have the freon removed and be tagged to be accepted.

The football committee will also have a trailer there to collect scrap metal items.

Large Item Cleanup Day is for only Fort Loramie residents.
