SIDNEY — Aviation Day will be held Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Sidney City Airport, 14833 Sidney-Plattsville Road.

The rain day for the event is Oct. 8.

The event is sponsored by Sinclair Community College and will be hosted by the Upper Valley Career Center’s Aerospace Occupations program. There will be several aircraft to see, hands-on activities, remote-control aircraft on display, food and other attractions.

The purpose of Aviation Day is to get students excited about aviation and see what opportunities are available.
