LIMA — Team Roadrunners Bicycle Club will host its fourth annual Limaland Bicycle Tour on Saturday morning, June 17, 2017, at the Ottawa Metro Park, 2632 Ada Road in Lima.

The event features three different route options, giving cyclists a chance to ride 25, 40 or 65 miles over local country roads. The tour is a non-competitive event. Riders who pre-register before June 5th will pay $10 for the 25 mile route or $20 for the 40 and 65 mile routes. A $25 family preregistration option is available for the 25 mile route. All pre-registered riders will receive a free tour T-shirt. Registration is available after June 5th, but at increased prices.

“With the popularity of cycling growing each year, we see this as an event to let folks explore our area.” says Jay Salge, president of Team Roadrunners. “The 2016 tour brought riders from all over Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and beyond. There are routes for cyclists across all spectrums and we hope to see many local, regional and out of town cyclists for 2017.”

All routes are mapped, marked with road paint and feature additional signage and support. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the local Wheelhouse charity bike ministry.
