SIDNEY — The Shelby County Highway Department began sandblasting and repainting the sidewalk and concrete walls on the Doorley Road bridge over the CSX Railroad Tuesday, Sept. 29, according to County Engineer Bob Geuy.

The work will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Crews will resume work Wednesday and Thursday morning.

School buses and emergency traffic will be able to travel across the bridge. The road will be closed to all other traffic during that time.
