Cassie Dawson, left, holds open a plastic bag while Pamela Hall, both of Sidney, puts in deodorant. The two women are members of Aktion Club which is a group for adults with disabilities started by Kiwanis. The members got together at the Sidney-Shelby County Senior Center Wednesday, May 17 to pack “Blessing Bags” with hygiene products. The bags will be given to the Sidney Police Department, Fire Department, Alpha Community Center, Salvation Army, and the local men’s home where they will be distributed to people in need of them. The Key Club, a Kiwanis club for Sidney High School students helped gather the supplies for the Blessing Bags.
