FLETCHER — Fire destroyed a building in Miami County Thursday. Firefighters from multiple departments went to the structure fire at 5355 East Snyder Road, in Brown Township.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene just before 11:30 a.m. First-arriving units called in a fully-involved fire and requested mutual aide from multiple departments.

In addition to Fletcher, Johnson-St. Paris, Casstown and Lockington fire departments were called for assistance.

The fire was knocked down but not before the structure was destroyed. High winds caused the fire to spread quickly.

The State Fire Marshal was called to investigate the blaze. There were no injuries.
