JACKSON CENTER — The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Parks and Preserves will be organizing a tree/leaf identification hike on Oct. 10.

The majestic mature trees are one of the most notable features of Gross Woods State Nature Reserve. Hikers will learn the most common trees of the area and identify them by learning their distinct identifying characteristics.

Hikers should meet in the parking lot at 10 a.m.: 19575 Botkins Road, Jackson Center 45334

The hike should last until about noon.
