Luke Ryan, 11, of Houston, son of Janis and Tim Ryan, throws a type 4 personal flotation device towards the image of a drowning person. Luke missed the figure by a large margin due to wearing goggles that blur vision as though the wearer is drunk. The learning exercise was part of this summer’s Shelby County D.A.R.E. Camp held on Lake Loramie Tuesday, June 16. Ohio Department Natural Resources Division of Water Craft Officer Kim Sheets, of Wapakoneta, guided the kids in water safety during the camp. The camp held by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and overseen by Sheriff John Lenhart lasted for 4 days. Luke Gronneberg | Sidney Daily News
