Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals

SIDNEY — The Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Monday at 4 p.m. in City Council chambers.

The board will consider a request by Brian and Nikki Jutte for a variance for a reduced rear-yard setback at 292 W. Pinehurst St. to accommodate a proposed 1,222 square-foot addition.

The board also will consider a request by Ratermann Custom Home Builders, on behalf of Darren and Deborah Wildermuth, for a conditional-use permit for accessory structure square footage over 1,000 square feet at 2440 Wells Drive.

Sidney Recreation Board

SIDNEY — The Sidney Recreation Board will meet Monday at 4:15 p.m. in the City Hall conference room across from council chambers.

The board will discuss the RCI adopt-a-park, Deam Park; a name for a dog park; and a photography contest.

Sidney Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Sidney Board of Education will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in the board office for a work session.

The high school report and salaries and benefits report will be given. The board also will consider hiring of personnel for various positions.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — Sidney City Council will meet Monday night in council chambers.

A public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. on an electric and natural gas aggregation plan of operation and governance.

Council’s workshop meeting will begin at 6:30. An update will be given on the downtown revitalization project and council will discuss the snow-removal policy and a dog park.

Council will review agendas for upcoming Zoning Board of Appeals, Planning Commission, and council meetings.

Council will go into an executive session to discuss the appointment and employment of a public official.

Fairlawn Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Fairlawn Local Schools Board of Education will meet Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the school library.

Discussion is planned on the salary for the computer lab aide. Employment and approving a service contract are also on the agenda.
