TROY – For all the good Habitat for Humanity of Miami and Shelby Counties, OH does for others, Film Solutions and Eastman Chemical Company wanted to give back after learning they needed a solution to help with the heat and glare problems they experienced with their glass front office.

“When Scott Konya, my Eastman Performance Films sales representative, approached me about this project, I had no problem helping out,” said Jason Jones, owner of Film Solutions. “Habitat for Humanity is a wonderful organization and does a lot of good for the community. We need organizations like this. Donating services to this organization is a way I can give back and feel proud of it.”

Jones met with Cathy Duff, operations administrator at Habitat for Humanity of Miami and Shelby Counties, OH, to learn more about their issues with heat and glare. Based on what he learned, he chose LLumar Dual Reflective 15 window film. With a mirrored exterior side and a subtle interior side, Dual Reflective 15 was the best solution to cut heat and glare. The finished product allows the natural light in while creating a more comfortable workplace for the local Habitat for Humanity team.

“Cathy’s efforts to find a solution and Eastman, their sales representative and Film Solutions’ gracious donation are sincerely appreciated,” said William Horstman, executive director, Habitat for Humanity of Miami and Shelby Counties, OH.
