Yard sale to benefit Anna’s Angels, Arthritis Foundation

SIDNEY — Anna Neu is an 8-year-old from Sidney, Ohio, with ankylosing spondylitis, a painful form of Arthritis. Each year, Anna and her Angel supporters, raise money for her team that competes in the Jingle Bell Run in Columbus, Ohio.

This year, Anna’s sister, Allison Neu, wanted to do something extra. Allison has been requesting and taking donated items for a charity yard sale that will benefit Anna’s Angels. The yard sale will take place Friday, Sept. 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 16, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 324 E Robinwood St, Sidney, Ohio.

“I hate seeing my sister suffer. She experiences pain daily and there is little we can do for her. I wanted to help her raise money for her team because she gets so excited each year and tries to beat her amount from the year before. We might not be able to help relieve her pain, but I might be able to raise the dollar that will find a new medicine that will,” said Allison.

The sale will include motorized ride-on-toys, kids and adult clothing and shoes, home decor, designer purses, books, electronics and much more.

Anna’s Angels will also be doing a “Week Away from the Kitchen” event in October partnering with area restaurants. More information will be provided about the week at a later date.
