VANDALIA — Sidney native Kris Nuss, of Cincinnati, will be aboard several airplanes during the Vectren Dayton Air Show at the Dayton International Airport here, Saturday and Sunday, June 20-21.

A television reporter and editor, Nuss will join aerobatics pilot Sean Tucker in his Oracle Challenger 3 biplane as he performs aerial stunts above the crowds.

“The Sean Tucker ride is the golden ticket,” she said recently. “I hope I don’t throw up.”

Nuss will also catch a ride in the B25 Mitchell bomber, the Panchito, owned by the Disabled American Veterans, and she’ll do more aerobatics with pilot Matt Youkin in his Twin Beach plane.

“I already have my Dramamine to take,” she said.

She’ll end her air show tag-alongs by going aloft with the U.S. Army Golden Knights to watch from above as paratroopers parachute out of the plane.

“I was told to dress warmly,” she said.

Watch the Sidney Daily News next week for an interview with Nuss about her adventures in the air.
