SIDNEY — The Shelby County Liberty will host a seminar, The Roots of Liberty, with Kris Anne Hall, in the Calvary United Baptist Church, 9480 County Road 25A, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Registration deadline is Oct. 4. The fee of $10 includes lunch, class materials and a flag pin.

Hall is a motivational speaker and attorney, a former prosecutor who teaches the Constitution and the history of the founding documents. She was fired after teaching the Constitution to Tea Party groups. She is a pastor’s wife, a mother, a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army, as well as an author, a Russian linguist and a radio and television host.
