Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals

SIDNEY — The Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Monday, Oct. 19, at 4 p.m. in City Council chambers.

The board will consider a request by Kathleen LaFramboise for a conditional-use permit for a home occupation at 117 W. Clay St. She wants to have a pet-grooming service at the home.

Sidney Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Sidney Board of Education will meet Monday, Oct. 19, at 6 p.m. in the board office.

The board will hear a report on permanent improvement needs and will consider approving the five-year financial forecast. The board also will act on a number of personnel matters and policy amendments.

Neighborhood Revitalization

DEGRAFF — A Neighborhood Revitalization meeting will be held Monday, Oct. 19, at 6:30 p.m. in the DeGraff Council Chambers, 107 Main St., DeGraff.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the 2016 Neighborhood Revitalization Program to benefit the village. The program is a two-year $300,000 grant.

Hardin-Houston Board of Education

HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston Board of Education will meet Monday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. in the media center at the school. They will be approving monthly financial reports and expenditures for September 2o14, approving a five-year forecast, and addressing personnel issues.

Sidney Planning Commission

SIDNEY — The Sidney Planning Commission will meet Monday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m. in City Council chambers.

The commission will consider a request by Trent Snavley, on behalf of Charles Cole, for the annexation of 25.249 acres on the north side of Fair Road and Schenk Road. The purpose of this annexation is to make the property available for development with city utilities and services.

Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health

SIDNEY — The Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health will meet at Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Health Department Conference Room, 102 W. Poplar St.

The board will consider Naloxone funding, WIC breastfeeding peers, a private water system variance, condemnation orders in Jackson Center, Sidney, Botkins, Maplewood and Piqua, an order to remain vacant in Sidney. The board will also review food program license fees and adjourn to executive session.
