-3:10 p.m.: assault. Jeromy Miller, 40, 212 Piper St., was arrested for assault and an unrelated contempt warrant through Sidney Municipal Court. The victim of the assault, Michael Barga, 37, 611 Chestnut Ave., had apparent minor injury cuts and swelling on his face.

-11:52 a.m.: theft. Justin Depinet, 32, 514 Second Ave., reported his lap top was stolen earlier that morning.

-9:04 a.m.: contempt. Obed Maka, 30, 315 Wilson Ave., was arrested on a contempt warrant.

MONDAY

-2:20 p.m.: found property. A backpack containing clothes and personal items was found in the 300 block of Bowman Drive.

-6:55 p.m.: gas spill. Firefighters responded to a call of a small gasoline spill inside a garage in the 400 block of Addy Avenue.

-6:04 p.m.: Firefighters responded to a call of a hot smell from a dishwasher in the 600 block of Westover Drive.

-3:04 to 5:51 p.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

-1:04 p.m.: mulch fire. Firefighters responded to a small mulch fire in the 600 block of North Vandemark Road.

-11:50 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-11:11 a.m.: mulch fire. Firefighters responded to a small mulch fire in the 200 block of West Court Street.
