FRIDAY

-12:30 a.m.: probation violation. Skyler Williamson, 22, 302 1/2 S. Walnut Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant through Sidney Municipal Court and transported to the Shelby County Jail.

THURSDAY

-7:29 p.m.: found property. A black/gray Tungsten wedding band was found in the area of Wilkinson Avenue and turned at the police station.

-12:44 p.m.: criminal simulation. Lowes on Michigan Street reported someone tried to pass counterfeit money. One hundred counterfeit dollar bills were recovered.

-9:18 a.m.: contempt. Terry Little, 44, 2299 River Road, was arrested for a contempt warrant out of Sidney Municipal Court.

Accidents

Jordan Demarcus, 19, 625 St. Marys Road, was cited for right of way turning left after an accident on Thursday at 9:18 a.m.

Demarcus was southbound on Vandemark Road at Michigan Street when he turned left onto Michigan Street in front of another vehicle. The other vehicle was northbound on Vandemark and had the right of way. The driver, Lucinda Stephens, 59, 2299 River Road, tried to avoid the crash but struck Demarcus’ vehicle in the rear passenger side.

• No one was cited after an accident on Thursday at 7:32 a.m.

Andrew Ahrns, 23, 628 S. Main Ave., reported he was driving northbound on South Main Avenue entering the intersection of East Court Street. He said he saw the traffic light was green as he was entering the intersection then it changed to yellow. He said he saw another vehicle in the intersection and he hit the vehicle toward the rear.

Patricia Hawkins, 62, 21705 Miami-Shelby East, Conover, said she was going eastbound on East Court Street entering the intersection when she saw her light to be green. As she was going through the intersection, she said cars were stopped to her left except for Ahrns, who hit the rear passenger side of her vehicle.

According to the police report, there were no available witnesses at the scene. Due to the conflicting stories, no citation was issued to either driver.

FRIDAY

-8:01 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-7:18 a.m.: Firefighters responded to Interstate 75 at the 93 mile marker for a car fire.

-7:15 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

THURSDAY

-11:06 a.m. to 10:43 p.m.: Medics responded to three calls.
