SIDNEY — A grand jury met on Thursday in Shelby County Common Pleas Court to indict several people on felony charges.
Chiane Sowders, 212 Doorley Road, Apt. E, was indicted on two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, felonies of the fourth degree, and four counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, felonies of the fifth degree. She is currently being held in the Shelby County Jail on these charges. She is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 29 at 10 a.m.
James Skofield, 1418 Garfield Avenue, was indicted on five counts of rape, felonies of the fifth degree.
John Lee Irvin, 640 S. Main St., Piqua, was indicted on one count of aggravated burglary, a felony of the first degree, and one count of felonious assault, a felony of the second degree. On Oct. 5, he along with two others allegedly entered Isaac and Nancy Bollinger’s residence without permission and held them at gunpoint, assaulted them, and stole several items from their home. He is currently being held in the Shelby County Jail on these charges. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 29 at 10 a.m.
Eion Dangerfield, 714 Covington Ave., Piqua, was indicted on one count of aggravated burglary, a felony of the first degree, and one count of felonious assault, a felony of the second degree. He allegedly was involved with the incident at the Bollinger residence. He is currently being held in the Shelby County Jail on these charges. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 29 at 10 a.m.
Joseph Earick, 1001 Fourth Ave. Lot 46, was indicted on one count of rape, a felony of the first degree. He is currently being held in the Shelby County Jail on these charges. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 29 at 10 a.m.
