SIDNEY — Scott Barr, Shelby County United Way executive director, has announced that the 2018 board president will be Michael Lochard, president of Lochard Inc.

Lochard has been a member of the Board of Trustees for three years, serving the past two years on the Executive Committee. He serves on the Enhanced Giving Committee of which he has chaired in 2016 and 2017. Lochard is an allocations team member for Strengthening Families and Individuals, serving as team leader in 2015 and 2016. Lochard was also the 2013 Campaign chair and served as the Large Manufacturing chair in 2014 and 2015.

Lochard has been with Lochard Inc. for over 30 years. He is a lifelong resident of Sidney and an active community volunteer. He has served as president of the Building Industry Association of Shelby County, and chairman of the Board of the Sidney Shelby County Chamber. He currently sits on the board for Wilson Health Foundation, Sidney-Shelby Economic Partnership and serves as the president of Sidney Athletic Booster Group. He is married to Annette Lochard and has three children Alex, Jacob & Grace.
