Upper Valley Career Center Board of Education

PIQUA — The Upper Valley Career Center Board of Education will hold a special meeting Monday at 6 p.m. in the Adams Board Room.

The board will go into an executive session to discuss employment of personnel.

Sidney Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Sidney Board of Education will meet for a work session Monday at 6 p.m. in the board 0ffice.

The board will hear a report from the Longfellow Elementary School principal, will hear the first reading of several revised policies, and will consider a resolution declaring a permanent improvement levy necessary. The board also will consider a number of personnel matters.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — Sidney City Council will meet for a workshop session Monday at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers.

Council will discuss disposition of public property, a weed-mowing assessment at 105 Hill Ave., Great Miami River corridor branding, and the 2016 budget.

Anna Board of Education

ANNA — The Anna Board of Education will meet Monday, Nov. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Middle School Room 209. They will discuss recommendations to approve the 8th grade Washington D.C. Trip in 2016, to update Board Policy Manual and to award supplemental contracts.

They will also discuss a resolution of necessity for the bond issue for the March ballot.

Jackson Center CIC

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Community Improvement Corporation will be meeting on Nov. 3 at 10:30 a.m. to consider a resolution to certify the project for E.M.I. Corp. There will also be an executive session during this meeting to discuss the sale or purchase of real estate.

New Bremen Board of Education

NEW BREMEN — The New Bremen Local Schools Board of Education will meet Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Community Room. On the agenda are a discussion about a policy concerning drones at athletic events, health insurance premium increases and transportation data.

Fort Loramie Board of Education

FORT LORAMIE — The November Fort Loramie Board of Education meeting has been changed to Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. in the high school media center. All future board of education meetings will be held in the media center instead of the high school chorus room.
