YMCA renovation

Westerheide Construction employees Nate Bollheimer, left, and Mark Buehler, both of McCartyville, put up a sunshade canopy, Tuesday, Feb. 6, that is part of a west entry renovation project at the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA. The project started in early Dec. of last year, and includes replacement of doors, new flooring, new lights call bollards that will illuminate the sidewalk, a privacy fence, new shrubs and the sidewalk will be repaved after it warms up. The project was paid for with donations. The renovation was done at the same time as a leak in the wall of a basement stairwell next to the western doors was fixed. The leak was fixed with YMCA funds.
