HOUSTON — Hardin-Houston School will host a program to recognize, remember, and honor veterans on Wednesday, Nov. 11, starting at 9 a.m.

This program is not only for the students and staff of Hardin-Houston School, but also is open to the public. A special invitation is extended to local and area veterans who would like to and are able to attend.

Veterans, if you have a child or grandchild who attends Hardin-Houston School please come early for juice, coffee, and doughnuts at 8:15 a.m. in the Commons. Last year, there was a good turnout of veterans and the school district would like to see even more at this year’s program.

All veterans who attend will be recognized during the program. In addition, the high school chorus and band will perform. The school hopes to see many quests as they salute and thank local veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
