FRIDAY

-5:50 a.m.: theft. Hugh Roach, 34, 504 Urban Ave., reported his vehicle, a black four-door Mercedes, was stolen from his home.

-2:12 a.m.: operating a vehicle under the influence. Kayla Barrett, 20, 1579 E. Court Apt. C, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence.

THURSDAY

-11:10 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Paula Frew, 44, 2400 Wapakoneta Ave., on a contempt warrant and took her to the Shelby County Jail.

-8:19 a.m.: theft. Dave Fisher, 53, of Tipp City, reported his phone and money were taken from his vehicle in the area of 630 S. Miami Ave.

-7:24 a.m.: warrant service. Police arrested Brandon Engley, 27, 508 S. Miami Ave., on a warrant out of Champaign County. He was transported to the county line and turned over to a Champaign deputy.

-2:28 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Police arrested Russel Williamson, 21, 627 N. West Ave., for disorderly conduct. They also arrested Abe Williamson, 51, 627 N. West Ave., for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Accidents

Helen Sweat, 26, of Piqua, was cited for lane of travel after an accident on Tuesday at 2:39 p.m.

Sweat was traveling northbound on Wapakoneta Avenue in the through lane when she started to merge into the right-turn lane, causing the vehicle traveling in that lane to swerve into the curb. The driver of the other vehicle was Mary Chase, 45, 156 Gemini Drive.

• Andrew Brooks, 27, 420 Jefferson St., was cited for right of way turning left after an accident Thursday at 8:08 a.m.

Brooks was traveling eastbound on East Court Street and turning northbound on Main Avenue. Another vehicle was westbound on East Court Street approaching South Main Avenue. Brooks turned in front of the other vehicle, causing a collision. The driver of the other vehicle was Amber Hooker, 31, 125 Mound St.

Fire, rescue

FRIDAY

-3:08 to 9:37 a.m.: Medics responded to four calls.

THURSDAY

-7:46 p.m.: alarm. Firefighters responded to the 300 block of East Parkwood on a fire alarm. It was a false alarm due to malfunction.

-2:10 to 6:52 p.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

-1:50 p.m.: auto accident. Crews responded to Interstate 75 at state Route 47 for an auto accident with injuries and no hazards.

-9:45 a.m. to 12:53 p.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

-8:10 a.m.: auto accident. Crews responded to an accident at South Main Avenue and Court Street. There were no injuries.

-7:52 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.
