Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — Sidney City Council will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers.

Council will introduce ordinances to amend water, sewer, stormwater and solid waste collection rates; amend an ordinance dealing with disposition of personal property; and authorize electric and natural gas aggregation plans.

Council will consider resolutions to replace the Park Street bridge; to reappoint Gary Clough to the North Central Ohio Solid Waste District Policy Committee and to appoint Sarah Sharp to the Tree Board; and to waive an assessment for mowing services.

Council will continue discussion of the 2016 budget and will discuss the 2016 council retreat.

In an executive session, council will discuss preparing for negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees and will discuss the purchase of property.

Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Village Council will meet Monday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in council chambers.

They will read several ordinances. One that will authorize the village administrator to enter into contracts for the furnishing of fire protection to territory outside the village limits and one that will amend the village’s Ohio Income Tax ordinance. The third is the 2016 budget. They will also hear committee, administrator and police chief reports.

Fort Loramie Village Council

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Village Council will convene a public hearing at 8 p.m., Nov. 9, just prior to its regular meeting.

The hearing will address the villages’ electric and natural gas aggregation plan of operation and governance for the Municipal Electric and Natural Gas Aggregation Program.

On the meeting agenda are a final reading of an ordinance amending the village income tax, authorization of the electric power and natural gas aggregation plans and committee and staff reports.

Fairlawn Schools BOE

SIDNEY — Fairlawn Local School District Board of Education will meet Thursday, Nov. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the library at the school.

PARCC and AIR test results will be reviewed by Jo DeMotte and Rebekka Egbert. The board is also expected to award service contracts, accept a donation, approve a volunteer and accept a bid for a new school bus.
