CELINA — MPS Feed LLC has announced plans to construct a new feed mill in St. Henry.

MPS Feed LLC has been evaluating the benefits of a new feed mill over the past year and has decided to construct a new state of the art feed manufacturing facility to meet its needs.

MPS Feed LLC is a partnership between Mercer Landmark Inc. and Prairie Star Farms.

Mercer Landmark is a locally owned farm Cooperative serving the area of West Central Ohio and East Central Indiana. It has 19 facilities located in Mercer, Darke, Van Wert, Paulding and Defiance counties of Ohio.

Prairie Star Farms is based out of North Star, OH and produces shell eggs for its food service and retail customers throughout North America. In 2017, Prairie Star Farms supplied more than 200 million dozen of caged and cage free eggs placing Prairie Star Farms among the top 10 in US. Shell Egg Production. Prairie Star Farms egg production comes from farm facilities located in West Central Ohio and East Central Indiana and we are committed to being a full-service quality egg supplier for our customers.

Construction will begin in the spring of 2018 with completion in the fall of 2019.
