FFA, 4-H hold annual breakfast

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center FFA Chapter and Jackson Center 4-H clubs hosted their annual Scholarship Breakfast at the Jackson Center schools cafeteria on Sunday, Nov. 8.

The menu for the breakfast this year included an all-you-can-eat buffet of pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, muffins, fruit and yogurt. Each year on 100 percent of the proceeds from this breakfast is given out in the form of scholarships to eligible Jackson Center FFA and 4-H members who are graduating seniors.

The members of the Jackson Center FFA and 4-H Clubs express their appreciation to the patrons who came to support this years’ event.

“We would also like to thank LeCresha Clark and the entire cafeteria staff at Jackson Center Schools for helping us and allowing us to use their space for this breakfast,” said Lindsey Whetstone, Jackson Center FFA adviser.

Sponsors who helped purchase and donate a hog for the sausage for the breakfast were Ron and Marcia Wiessinger, MKM Farms, Lotz Insurance, Austin Regula Trucking, JC Greater Growth Association, Representative Jim Buchy, John and Sharon Lenhart, JC Bambauer Fertilizer and Seed, Allenbaugh Insurance and Curly’s Custom Meats.
