FFA students operate annual spring plant sale

PIQUA — Upper Valley Career Center has announced the Annual FFA Spring Plant Sale to begin Monday, May 2. Horticulture and Landscape Management instructor John Kreitzer said he is pleased with the stock his students have produced in preparation of the sale.

“The greenhouse is filled with a really nice selection of perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs and specialty plants. The students have done a great job,” said Kreitzer.

Hanging baskets, flats, potted plants and custom planters are offered.

The greenhouse is located behind the main instructional building on Looney Road, Piqua. The sale operates week days from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and 12:15 to 2:30 p.m. as supplies last. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Upper Valley Career Center FFA Chapter.
