McCartyville Producers review year

MCCARTYVILLE — The McCartyville Producers 4-H Club had a successful year by completing projects for the Shelby County Fair and doing community service at the soup kitchen.

In addition, some members attended 4-H camp and some were counselors at camp. Members have congratulated the club’s seniors, Hannah Albers, Eric Bensmen and Trevor Robbins, and Owen Michael, who was a Shelby County Fair king candidate and first runner-up.

Several members qualified for the state fair with their projects. The Shelby County Fair went well and the kids had fun. The club thanked the senior and the junior fair boards and the Extension Office staff for all their hard work.

The club had an end-of-the-year party at New Bremen Pool with Anna Livestock 4-H Club. Members thanked Anna Livestock for their kindness. Scholarships were given to the three seniors and names were drawn for gift cards.

This fall, the advisers, along with club officers, will begin planning the agenda for next year.
