MCCARTYVILLE — McCartyville Producers 4-H Club had their first meeting of 2018. Old news was reviewed, by-laws reviewed, treasure report, election of the 2018 club officers, and a Community Service Project was voted on and planned. The project involves cleaning up our area ditches.
Officers for the year include Grant Albers, news reporter; Connor Bensman, recreation officer; Ryan Bruns, community service; Cole Albers, halth/safety officer; Aubrey Hoying, vice president; Derek Wolters, president; Liz Michael, secretary; and Ben Schmitmeyer, treasurer.
New 4-H members and Cloverbuds were welcomed. Other members can still join our club, contact Chris Albers 937-394-2541.
A special award was handed out to Evan Albers. Ohio Senate recognized Evan for his superb achievements, and tremendous success at the 2017 Shelby County Fair. Evan received an Outstanding of the Day at the Shelby County Fair and the Ohio State Fair for Arcs and Sparks Project. Congrats Evan Albers!
The meeting was adjourned and the next meeting will be held in February.
