SIDNEY — The Sidney Police Department in cooperation with New Choices Inc. and Sidney/Shelby County Crime Stoppers will offer Rape Aggression Defense, a nationally recognized 12-hour self-defense course.

The class is open to women age 13 and older (minors must be accompanied by an adult) who wish to learn basic self-defense. The class is free but limited to 10 participants. Participants are asked to commit to attend all four sessions. The courses are taught by certified RAD instructors from the sponsoring agencies. Pre-registration is required.
