LIMA — Rhodes State College, in conjunction with Manufacturing Extension Partnership, will host a cybersecurity information session on Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), April 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Keese Hall Multipurpose Center at Rhodes State College.

Defense contractors are required to comply with DFARS regulations or prove they are in the process of complying under DFARS. Companies in industries including automotive, food processing and others that contract with the government will be required to adopt similar cybersecurity regulations. There will be a panel of experts at both sessions to explain the requirements to prepare participants for these regulations.

On the panel will be Elliot Forsyth, vice president of business operations at Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center; Scott Halbur, FBI Cleveland Division; Ryan Bonner, cybersecurity expert for Brightline; Paul Burkholder, chairman and assistant professor of information and emerging technology at Rhodes State College.
