GRINNELL, Iowa — Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Co., of Grinnell, Iowa, has awarded German Farmers Mutual of New Knoxville a 2018 Road to Success Agency Incentive $500 grant, which the agency has designated to the New Knoxville Firefighters Association.

German Farmers Mutual was eligible for the grant thanks to insured high school student, Joanna Frankenberg, of New Bremen, who submitted a Road to Success Scholarship application.

The new program award goes to 30 agents and was created in conjunction with the Road to Success scholarship program, which recognizes high school seniors with Grinnell Mutual auto coverage who have excellent academic records and have been accident- and violation-free for their high school years. The program recognizes German Farmers Mutual and this community for supporting the achievements of the local high school students.
