SIDNEY — Jeff Raible, director of the Sidney Visitors Bureau, recently released promotional statistics for September and October.
The bureau’s website saw 2,389 web sessions in September, 1,686 in October; and 3,350 page views in September, 2,448 in October. The Facebook page had 6,531 views in September and 847 views in October.
The bureau partnered with Miami, Darke, Auglaize, Mercer, and Van Wert County visitors bureaus to produce, print and distribute a rack card promoting the Made In West Ohio factory tour collaboratively hosted by these neighboring visitors bureaus.
Arranged for advertising of Shelby County tourism events and destinations at Tourism Ohio and in the 2019 Ohio Travel Planner, the state’s official travel guide.
Contracted for the placement of Sidney Visitors Guides in the greater Detroit, Michigan, area; at consumer travel shows in Detroit, Hershey, Pennsylvania, and at the Ohio State Fair; and at various locations in northeast, southwest and central Ohio.
Placed advertising in the OhioTreaveler.com e-newsletter, Crossings magazine, The Auglaize Mercer Convention and Visitors Bureau 2019 Visitors Guide, and online through Great Lakes Publishing.
In other business, the Sidney Visitors Bureau pledged sponsorship support of Sidney Alive.
