Winners meats honored with ribbons

YORKSHIRE — Robert Winners Sons Inc. garnered 12 ribbons during the Ohio Association of Meat Processors annual convention and product competition in Columbus in February.

Meat packers from throughout Ohio participated. Winners took home the grand champion prize in the Loaf category for honey pork & beef loaf and in the specialty class for flank steak roll up.

Winners won reserve champion in four more categories for sweet Italian whole hog sausage brat and smokey snack sticks. In the Slab Bacon, Skin-On category, the Osgood plant won reserve champion and Greenville took first place for double award-winning Winner’s Smoked Bacon. Winners garnered another five first-place wins.
