SIDNEY — The nomination of Michael W. Lochard, of Sidney, to the Board of Directors of Peoples-Sidney Financial Corp. and its subsidiary, Peoples Federal Savings and Loan Association, has been announced by Debra Geuy, president and CEO.
Lochard is the president of Lochard Inc., a 75-year-old, third generation, family-owned business. Lochard Inc. is a multi-faceted company comprising a contract manufacturing division, an HVAC and plumbing division and a retail hardware store. Lochard oversees operations in the day-to-day activities throughout all divisions.
He also is a member and past president of the Shelby County United Way Board of Directors and a former United Way campaign chairman; a former chairman of the Sidney-Shelby County Chamber of Commerce board, vice president of the Sidney/Shelby Economic Partnership, a past president of the Shelby County Home Builders Association; a member of the Shelby County Building Code Board of Appeals; a member of the boards of Raise the Roof and the Wilson Health Foundation board; president of the Sidney High School athletic booster group; a past member of the Sidney High School Field Turf Committee; and a past vice president of the Sidney High School Vespa club.
