DAYTON — Dayton Power and Light has named Dickman Supply a Channel Partner Top Performer for the fifth consecutive year.

The announcement was made during an annual DP&L workshop at Edison State Community College.

Since 2009, Dayton Power and Light has partnered with local contractors and distributors to incentivize area businesses to “go green.” This initiative has provided nearly $27 million in rebates to companies throughout the Miami Valley that have upgraded to more energy efficient systems, including lighting, HVAC and motors.

More than 200 paid rebate applications were processed by Dickman Supply throughout the year, generating more than $300,000 in rebates and saving 4,354,756 kilowatt hours (kWh) of energy. For reference, the average household consumes approximately 11,000 kWh on an annual basis according to the US Energy Information Administration.

“We’re truly honored to be named a Top Performer of 2015,” says Brent Palser, vice president of sales at Dickman Supply. Palser attributes much of their success to the experience and knowledge of Dickman’s Green Energy Solutions division, a dedicated team that specializes in helping customers maximize their return on energy efficiency projects. “The Green Energy Solutions team does a fantastic job working with the program managers at DP&L and guiding our customers through the rebate process,” he said.
