Expanding Retirement Planning education courses headline Eikenberry’s 2020 events

SIDNEY — The more things change, the more they stay the same. The longest economic expansion in the post World War II era continues to get longer and still no signs of large imbalances or overheating that might indicate that Americans are at the end of the cycle. The US economy is very dynamic and has proven over time to adapt to diverse economic and political backdrops.

In the world of retirement planning, John Eikenberry, founder of Eikenberry Retirement, and his staff know that their clients expect the same professional service and customer care that they have always received from the Sidney-based organization, no matter what else changes in the world. “Eikenberry Retirement is based on exceptional customer service and superb attention to detail in every single dealing,” Eikenberry said.

“And no matter what changes,” Nick Boeckman, CFP said, “our commitment is to our clients and community by providing them with the best service possible.”

Last year, Eikenberry Retirement partnered with The PREPARE Institute® and sponsor two-night retirement planning courses to educate pre-retirees on the more technical details of retirement planning. The PREPARE Institute is a national non-profit educational institution that provides college-style retirement education courses and classes for adults. These courses provide information on all areas of retirement and estate planning. “The education courses were very well received, and we have added additional courses this year,” Eikenberry said.

The advisers say they are constantly looking for new ways to provide even better service to their clients and their community.

“Recent changes from the SECURE Act add to the complexity of retirement income plans for retirees, and it is hard for individuals to stay aware of the constant changes,” adviser Luke Bertke said. “We have added multiple one-night Income Tax Planning courses explaining the complex changes brought on by the SECURE Act in order to help people understand how to make their retirement assets work for them,” Bertke added.

Boeckman further commented, “We think the next decade will be vastly different from decades past. With constant tax law changes, an uncertain future for Medicare and Social Security, expanding financial markets, and the probable onset of widespread changes in the U.S. government, the need for sound retirement strategies has never been greater.”

We look forward to a wonderful year in 2020. If you would like to learn more about these classes or have additional questions, you can reach us through our website at www.EikenberryRetirement.com, email us at [email protected], or call us at 937-498-1128.
