SIDNEY — “2019 was another strong year for U.S. Bank and an exciting one for me personally as I took on a new role that gave me leadership of community markets in U.S. Bank’s Ohio Indiana region,” said Andy Counts, regional president. “From my base in Sidney, I am honored to lead more than 400 employees who wake up every day thinking about how they can provide the best banking experience for our customers.”

His report continues:

At U.S. Bank, we are always innovating. In 2019, we launched our new U.S. Bank Mobile App and online near-instant decisioning for mortgage and home equity line of credit. We also acquired companies including talech and London-based Sage Pay to elevate our software and payments processing capabilities. As we head into the new year, we will continue to strive to power our customers potential as we invest in digital technology and our people.

U.S. Bank has long been committed to serving local community needs through the U.S. Bank Foundation Community Possible platform, which focuses on the areas of Work, Home and Play. In 2019, the U.S. Bank Foundation awarded $287,500 in grants to 91 organizations in the Ohio Indiana region (a community banking territory that is separate from our major metro markets).

Our employees in the Ohio Indiana region also contribute their personal time, resources and passion as they support volunteer efforts to create stable jobs, better homes and vibrant communities. We are especially proud of how our people strive to be the most trusted choice every day, and for a fifth year in a row, we were named to the Ethisphere Institute’s list of World’s Most Ethical Companies. In addition, FORTUNE magazine recognized U.S. Bank as a 2019 World’s Most Admired Company, naming it the world’s most admired superregional bank for the ninth consecutive year.

We are excited about what we accomplished in 2019 and even more excited about how we can help customers achieve their potential in 2020. I would like to thank all our customers and employees for their continued support of U.S. Bank.
