SIDNEY — “Sidney Electric Company experienced modest revenue growth in 2019,” said Bill McClain, director of business development and marketing.

His report continues:

A notable mark for our company happened in 2019 as President John S. Frantz celebrated 40 years of service at our firm. His contributions and achievements to the company were celebrated at the annual company Christmas party. Additionally, there were 15 other employees who celebrated various levels of service and were honored at the annual party.

We saw growth in all the major markets we served this past year. Projects in chemical/refinery facilities, along with automotive manufacturing facilities, industrial plants, and food processing plants increased significantly and helped with our revenue growth.

Sidney Electric Company continues to support local organizations and charities. Our firm has been the sole sponsor of the Sidney Electric Girls Amateur Softball League in Sidney since 1977 with over 500 girls participating each year. In addition, they support Big Brothers/Big Sisters and many local community and school groups with financial sponsorships and support.

Offices are located in Sidney and Lima, Ohio and in Muncie, Indiana. We provide 24-hour a day, 7-day-a-week service for all your electrical and communication system needs.

Our firm is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and electricians are trained Journeymen in Local 32 (Lima), Local 82 (Dayton) and Local 855 (Muncie) of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Selected project managers and job superintendents are certified with the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE).
