SIDNEY – Judy Depinet, whose coworkers said makes the best cinnamon rolls, is retiring after working almost 35 years at Ohio Living Dorothy Love.

Depinet celebrated her retirement with a party Thursday afternoon at Dorothy Love. Her final day of work will be Sunday, after which she looks forward to visiting her family in her native state of Pennsylvania.

Through most of her career, more than 25 years, Depinet has supervised Dorothy Love’s morning shift of cooks. Her beloved cinnamon rolls were her favorite thing to make.

Chef Mike Caulfield, Depinet’s supervisor, praised her as a great employee with a big heart. She always took care of the residents, he said, and he never had to worry about her.

Tiffany Burton said everyone is going to miss Depinet and that all the residents adore her.

Depinet, a Sidney resident, said she’s looking forward to retirement, but she’ll miss the people at Dorothy Love.
