Advertising and marketing remained steady

SIDNEY — “We were pleased with the loyalty of our clients during 2020, as we remained active in both advertising and marketing strategies for a variety of clients,” saidMary Beth Monnier, owner of Creative Marketing Strategies in downtown Sidney.

Her report continues:

Things seem to come in batches, and last year, we produced two 100th anniversary hard-bound books for local businesses, as well as two soft bound books that were written by private individuals who had family stories to tell. These projects were very diverse topics, but that’s what makes this business so interesting.

Other projects such as annual reports, newsletters, direct mailings for fundraisers and printed product catalogs were completed. The fourteenth annual Discover Shelby County magazine was completed for the Chamber; CMS contracted the writing, photography and print; project management and design was done in-house. CMS assisted with the city of Sidney’s Bicentennial celebration including identity, postcards, silver coins and beer can design. On the digital side, CMS was able to produce a number of YouTube videos and produce regular email blasts for product sales and services for local clients.

As an advocate for supporting the community, CMS has been able to donate time to local agencies and organizations, helping with their marketing and advertising needs.
