ATHENS — Ohio University’s College of Business was ranked the 38th-best undergraduate business school and 15th among public schools in Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2016 review of the best undergraduate business schools.

“We are incredibly proud of this recognition for the college,” said Hugh Sherman, dean of the College of Business. “It’s no small feat for a residential campus in Appalachian Ohio to have built such a strong reputation for positive student outcomes. We promise students a special experience that prepares them for lifelong career success. This confirms that we deliver on that promise.”

Bloomberg Businessweek updated its rankings to place more emphasis on career outcomes during this rankings cycle. The ranking is based on four main metrics including an employer survey, a student survey, starting salaries of graduates and internship completion.

OU’s College of Business moved up 41 spots from the 2014 ranking of 79th place overall and 33rd-best among public schools.
