Mall plans clothing drive

PIQUA — The Salvation Army Adult Rehablitation Center in Dayton and the Miami Valley Centre mall in Piqua will have a clothing and household items drive July 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the mall parking lot.

Clothing, shoes, household items and furniture will be accepted and then sold at the Salvation Army Family Stores. Sales of the merchandise will support programs provided by the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center. These programs are available to those in need, including people from the upper Miami Valley area. Donations are tax-deductaible and receipts will be available for donated items.

Anyone donating during the event will receive a free caricature drawing provided by Caricatures by Shelly.
